Keerthy Suresh Breaks the OTT vs. Cinema Stigma!
  • What’s Inside:
  • Keerthy Suresh’s new web series, ‘Akka’.
  • Why some folks told her NOT to do it.
  • Her thoughts on movies vs. streaming today.

We just saw Keerthy Suresh opening up about her new streaming show, ‘Akka’! It’s her first time on OTT, and guess what? Some people told her she shouldn’t do it. They thought she was too much of a big-screen star for web series.

Can you imagine? Like there’s a ‘better’ way to act or make movies. Keerthy is basically saying that whole idea is totally outdated. She feels that OTT platforms are just as good as regular movies now. The whole vibe of her interview feels so real, like she’s just speaking her mind.

She makes a great point. The lines are so blurred these days. Whether you’re watching on a giant cinema screen or on your phone, the story and the performance are what matter most, right? It’s all about the content and the artistry. We love that she’s championing this.

Our Take

We totally agree with Keerthy! The idea that theatrical releases are somehow superior to streaming is so last decade. Good acting is good acting, and a great story is a great story, no matter where you watch it. It’s all about making cool stuff for people to enjoy.
