Emily Osment Was Totally Thinking Ahead for ‘Young Sheldon’!
- Why Emily Osment asked for an intimacy coordinator.
- What this means for younger actors on set.
- Our thoughts on set safety.
Okay, so we just saw this super interesting tidbit about Emily Osment from ‘Young Sheldon’. You know her as Mandy, right? Well, she recently shared something pretty cool.
She didn’t ask for an intimacy coordinator for herself. Nope! She asked for one for her co-star, Montana Jordan. He plays Georgie Cooper.
At the time, Georgie was getting romantically involved with Mandy on the show. And Montana? He was really young. Like, “He was a baby!” as Emily put it.
This is such a big deal. It shows how much she cared about making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Especially on set when things get a bit more intimate in the storyline. It really adds a certain vibe of respect and care to the whole production.
It’s awesome that Emily was thinking about the younger actor’s well-being. It makes you wonder how many other young actors are in similar situations. This kind of proactive thinking is what we love to see.
We also loved seeing how Amanda Seyfried said NO to Guardians of the Galaxy?! Here’s Why! It’s a good reminder that saying no is okay too!
Our Take
Honestly, we think this is fantastic. Protecting younger actors on set is so important. Emily Osment stepping up like this? Major points. It’s a step towards making sure everyone, no matter how young, feels respected and secure when filming scenes.
