OMG! ‘Something Is Killing The Children’ is Getting a Movie!
- What’s Inside:
- Your favorite scary comic is coming to the big screen!
- Who’s making it?
- What’s the vibe?
Okay, so you know that super popular comic book series, Something Is Killing The Children? The one with all the creepy monsters and brave kids fighting them? Well, guess what?! It’s officially getting turned into a movie!
And not just any movie. Craig Zobel, who you might know from directing parts of Mare of Easttown and The Penguin, is stepping in to direct. That’s a pretty big deal. Plus, Jason Blum and his company, Blumhouse, are producing it. Yep, the same Blumhouse that brings us all those scary hits!
We’re already picturing the dark, moody colors and the jump scares. The whole vibe of the comic is so intense and visually striking. We can totally see Blumhouse leaning into that aesthetic.
We can’t wait to see how they bring the terrifying creatures and the determined protagonists to life on screen. This has the potential to be seriously awesome.
Our Take
We’re so hyped for this! If you’re a fan of the comics, you’re probably jumping for joy like we are. And if you’re new to the story? Get ready to be hooked. This is the kind of horror we love – smart, scary, and with characters you actually care about.
