- What the CBFC said about the movie.
- The new age rating you need to know.
- Why the runtime is changing.
We just saw some big updates about Akshay Kumar’s next project, Bhooth Bangla. It’s official. The censor board finally gave it a certificate. But it wasn’t a perfect pass right away.
The CBFC gave the film a UA 16+ rating. This means it is for older teens and adults. They also asked the team to remove a few bad words. It looks like some of the dialogue was a bit too spicy for them! Oops.
Because of these changes, the movie has a new runtime. It’s a tiny bit shorter now. We are really digging the vibe of this film so far. The posters have this dark, moody aesthetic. Think deep greens and very long shadows.
It feels a lot like those classic spooky movies we used to love. If you’re into that intense feeling, you might also like the new Hunger Games trailer. It’s got a very similar gritty look.
While we wait for Akshay to hit the screen, we’ve been looking back at some legends. We found this really touching story about Asha Bhosle and a rare photo that was shared recently. It’s so sweet. Also, Sai Abhyankkar is talking about rumors regarding his next acting role!
Our Take
We think a UA 16+ rating is actually pretty cool. It means the movie might actually be scary! Sometimes when films are made for everyone, they lose that edge. We want the spooky stuff. We want the jokes to land. Let’s hope the cuts didn’t take away too much of the fun.
