Okay, you guys, WE just saw some news that’s going to make hockey fans scream with joy! Netflix is officially diving back into the world of ice and pucks. Remember that super popular book, ‘Icebreaker,’ by Hannah Grace? Yep, it’s getting the series treatment! We’re talking maple syrup vibes and maybe some dramatic locker room moments.
This isn’t the only hockey story Netflix is telling. They’ve also got another show called ‘The Sticks’ in the works. It seems like they’re really leaning into that sporty, competitive aesthetic, and we’re here for it! Imagine the cool visuals, the crisp winter air, the bright lights on the ice – the whole aesthetic is going to be so sharp.
We don’t have all the casting details yet, but they’re busy building the team for ‘Icebreaker.’ It’s exciting to think about who they’ll pick to bring these characters to life. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any updates!
Our Take
We love seeing books we adore become shows! Netflix picking up ‘Icebreaker’ feels like a slam dunk. We’re really hoping they capture the magic of the book. Plus, more hockey on screen? Yes, please! This is the kind of content that just feels good to watch.
