Big Changes Coming to CinemaCon After 2028!
- What’s Inside: A big name is leaving CinemaCon.
- Who’s going?
- What does this mean for movies?
We just saw some news that made us pause. Mitch Neuhauser, a super important guy at CinemaCon, is stepping down. Like, after the 2028 show. He’s been there a long, long time. Think of him as the face of the whole event.
Mitch is the one who usually kicks things off. He’s always onstage. He’s the guy who makes sure everything runs smoothly. He really helped bring CinemaCon back after COVID. Remember that August 2021 show? That was a big deal.
Thinking about CinemaCon, we always imagine this big, exciting vibe. Lots of energy. Bright lights. Big screens. It feels like the heart of movie announcements. Mitch was a big part of that visual energy. It’s kind of like watching a favorite actor take their final bow.
This makes us wonder what will happen next. Who will take his place? Will the show feel different? We’re also seeing a lot of soccer news right now, like Spain playing. And then there’s the drama with Kareena and Mira chatting, which you can read about here. Plus, remember the Producers Guild got new bosses? That’s over here.
Our Take
It’s always a little sad when someone so connected to an event leaves. Mitch Neuhauser has been the guy at CinemaCon for ages. We’re wishing him all the best for his retirement. We’re also super curious to see who steps up. It’s a huge role to fill!
