Wait, Did Andy Burnham Almost Join Oasis? SNL UK Thinks So!
- Andy Burnham as a rockstar?
- The Gallagher brothers on SNL UK.
- What’s really going on?
We just saw something pretty wild on Saturday Night Live UK!
They did a funny skit where the new UK Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, was almost, *almost* in Oasis. Imagine that!
George Fouracres played Andy, and he was back in his favorite place, Manchester. But then, BAM! He was about to join Liam and Noel Gallagher.
The whole vibe of the sketch was a bit surreal. The Gallagher brothers, you know, always a bit of drama. The colors felt a little muted, like a faded band poster, which totally fits the Oasis aesthetic.
But here’s the thing. Something felt… off. The way the brothers were acting, it wasn’t quite right. SNL UK loves to poke fun, and they definitely did here.
Our Take
Honestly, it’s hilarious to think about! Andy Burnham singing “Wonderwall”? Probably not going to happen, but it made for a great laugh. We love when shows get a little silly with real people.
