True Crime and Comedy? Sounds Intriguing!
- What’s Inside:
- A new dark comedy movie is coming to Amazon MGM Studios.
- It’s based on a true story.
- Big names are behind it!
Okay, you guys, we just got wind of something super interesting. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, who have brought us so many great shows, are producing a new movie called ‘Hang The Decorators’ for Amazon MGM Studios.
This isn’t just any movie. It’s a dark comedy. And get this – it’s based on a *true story*.
The movie will tell the story of Alexander Blarek and Frank Pellecchia. We don’t know all the details yet, but the title itself gives off a certain vibe, right? We’re picturing something with maybe a bit of a vintage, slightly unsettling aesthetic. Think muted colors, maybe a bit of a retro feel, hinting at the drama that’s about to unfold.
Mike Makowsky, who wrote ‘Death by Lightning’ and ‘Bad Education’, is penning the script. So, you know it’s going to be good. This project is currently in development, so we’ll have to wait to see it on screen.
Our Take
Honestly? We love a good true crime story. We also love a good comedy. Putting them together, especially with a dark twist, sounds like a recipe for something really engaging. We’re definitely keeping our eyes peeled for more news on this one. It feels like it could be the kind of movie that sparks a lot of conversation.
