OMG, The Family Stone is Getting a Sequel and Jean Smart is In!
- More Family Stone drama!
- Jean Smart is joining the cast.
- Looks like a cozy holiday vibe is coming back.
We just saw the news and had to share! Remember that super cozy, sometimes chaotic, Christmas movie, ‘The Family Stone’? The one with all the love and family awkwardness? Well, get ready because it’s coming back!
And guess who’s joining the gang? The amazing Jean Smart! Yes, the same brilliant actress from ‘Hacks’ and that iconic role in ‘Designing Women’. We can totally picture her fitting right into that Stone family dynamic. It’s going to be a whole new level of witty banter, we bet.
She’s joining Rachel McAdams, Sarah Jessica Parker, Claire Danes, Dermot Mulroney, Craig T. Nelson, and Luke Wilson. This cast is already giving us major holiday movie vibes. Think warm sweaters, maybe some snow, and definitely some hilarious family moments. We’re already feeling the festive aesthetic!
We can’t wait to see what kind of character Jean Smart will play. Will she be a new mom, a quirky aunt, or maybe someone stirring up even more fun? Whatever it is, it’s going to be good.
Our Take
Honestly, we’re thrilled! ‘The Family Stone’ was such a fun movie, and a sequel with this kind of cast? Yes, please. It’s going to be the perfect excuse to get cozy on the couch. We’re all about bringing back these feel-good movies. More Jean Smart is always a win in our book. It feels like the universe is giving us exactly what we need right now.
