We’re so bummed to share some really sad news. Chad Gilbert, the amazing guitarist and a co-founder of the punk rock band New Found Glory, has died. He was only 45.
His bandmates and his wife, Lisa Cimorelli, shared the news. Chad had been battling cancer for a while. It’s just heartbreaking.
The whole rock scene is feeling this loss. New Found Glory brought such a bright, energetic vibe to music. Think of those classic, colorful album covers and the loud, fast songs – that was Chad’s world.
This is a tough one for us. We’ve always admired how bands like New Found Glory could paint such vivid pictures with their sound. It makes us think of another tribute we wrote recently. You can read more about Chad and his amazing talent here.
