Where Can You Watch Gondhal? India’s 2027 Oscar Entry Is Heading Back To Theaters!
- Is Gondhal on Netflix or Prime?
- Why everyone is talking about Santosh Davakhar’s film.
- The visual vibe of this Oscar pick.
We just saw the latest buzz about Gondhal. It is India’s official entry for the Oscars in 2027. That feels like a long way off. But the hype is already here.
Everyone is asking one big question. Is it on OTT? Can we stream it on our phones yet? The answer might surprise you.
The movie is actually going back to theaters. It is getting a re-release. Director Santosh Davakhar wants people to see it on the big screen. This includes theaters in India and overseas too.
As art lovers, we are obsessed with the vibe of this film. The visual style is very raw. It uses earthy tones that make the scenes pop. It feels like a moving painting of real life. It is much more artistic than your average blockbuster.
If you are tired of scrolling for news on the iPhone 18 Pro Max or playing games like Roblox, this is for you. It is a nice break from the digital world. Even the different versions of Batman don’t have this kind of grounded feel.
Our Take
We think skip the small screen for now. A movie like this deserves a massive screen. The colors and the mood are meant to be felt. It is great to see Indian cinema getting this much love so early on!
