Denis Menochet, wow. He plays President Archambault with such focused resolve. You totally believe he’s a man under impossible pressure. The movie definitely sets up an incredible, scary situation. But we get what the review means. We kind of expected a bigger sweep. Something more expansive for a global threat. Instead, it feels more like watching a really intense, high-stakes play. On a super small, tense stage.
