- What’s Inside: Dhurandhar 2’s slow Thursday, the big question about its numbers, and what we think.
Okay, so we’ve been keeping an eye on Dhurandhar 2, you know, the one they’re calling ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’. We just saw the numbers for Day 22, and let’s just say, it wasn’t exactly a party at the box office.
Thursday collections were… well, they were a bit sad. Only XX Crore. Ouch. It’s really struggling to find its feet, especially on a weekday.
The big question is, will it pick up? We’re talking about the fourth Thursday, April 9th. Will the film suddenly get a second wind? The occupancy seems pretty low, visually it’s not exactly popping with energy right now.
Our Take
Honestly, when a film hits Day 22, you expect it to have found its groove, or at least be holding steady. This dip is a bit concerning. It makes us wonder if the revenge story is hitting home with audiences, or if it’s just not quite landing.
We’ve seen some great films lately, like ‘Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa’ which was such a clever whodunnit. And ‘Death Of A Salesman’ on Broadway was just powerhouse acting. This is the kind of energy we like to see. Dhurandhar 2 needs to find its spark.
