Max Russo is Feeling Left Out!
- What’s Inside: Jake T. Austin’s feelings about Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
- A familiar face missing from the reunion.
- Our thoughts on the Wizarding world.
We just saw some news about the Wizards of Waverly Place sequel, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. It sounds like not everyone from the original family got to be part of the big finale.
Jake T. Austin, who played our favorite mischievous younger brother, Max Russo, spoke out. He said he was pretty disappointed. Disappointed he wasn’t asked to join his siblings for the final spell.
Remember the original show? It had such a fun, colorful vibe. Like a magical, slightly chaotic apartment. The new show brings back some magic, but it feels like a piece of the puzzle is missing without Max.
It’s always a bummer when a cast member feels left out. We wonder what the producers were thinking. Maybe they just wanted to focus on the new generation? Still, a little nod to Max would have been nice.
Our Take
Look, we get it. Shows evolve. But family is family, right? Even in a wizarding world. It’s a shame Max wasn’t part of the magical reunion. We hope he gets his own magic moment soon.
