Carnival Cruise Line Says ‘No’ to Using Forks for Foot Care!
  • What’s Inside:
  • Carnival Cruise Line’s new rule about forks.
  • Why this is happening.
  • Our thoughts on the whole thing.

Okay, so we just saw something online that made us go, “Wait, what?!” A video went viral. A person on a Carnival cruise ship was using a metal fork. For their feet. Yeah, you read that right. To scratch dead skin off.

Now, imagine the vibe. Shiny silverware. Clean dining rooms. Then, BAM. Fork meets foot. It’s a bit of a jarring visual, isn’t it? The colors of the cruise ship’s interior probably didn’t include ‘unsightly foot-scratching’.

Carnival Cruise Line has heard about this. And they’re putting their foot down, literally! They’ve made it super clear. Forks are for eating. Not for pedicures.

It makes total sense. Think about hygiene. Forks go in your mouth. They are used for food. Using them on your feet, especially if there’s skin coming off, is just… gross. And not very hygienic at all.

This is why cruise lines have rules. To keep everyone safe and happy. And clean!

Our Take

Honestly, we’re a little baffled this even needed to be said. But hey, if it means cleaner forks and happier passengers, we’re all for it! Let’s keep those forks for our food, folks.
