Hey everyone! We just saw some super exciting news about Peacock, the streaming service that’s part of NBCUniversal. Guess what? They’ve officially turned their first profit! That’s right, for the first time ever, they made more money than they spent. It feels like a big, colorful peacock finally showing off its magnificent tail feathers!
In the last three months, Peacock added a whopping 2 million new paid subscribers. That brings their total fan club to 48 million people. It’s amazing to see how many people are tuning in!
This good news is coming out as their parent company, Comcast, is sharing its latest earnings. Apparently, streaming, their wireless service, and even their movie studio are all doing really well. This is all happening right after Comcast announced they have some big ideas for the future.
