We just heard some super cool news, and we had to share it ASAP! Asghar Farhadi, the director who makes those super intense, real-life movies, is getting a huge honor. Seriously, a big one!
The Sarajevo Film Festival is giving him their Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award. How neat is that? He’s not just getting it mailed to him, nope! He’ll be there, in person, to pick it up. Imagine that vibe!
And get this: they’re also showing a bunch of his past films. It’s like a special ‘Tribute To’ party for his work, as part of their program. We’re thinking deep, rich colors in those screenings, a truly thoughtful aesthetic highlighting his storytelling.
Farhadi returns to Sarajevo after eight whole years. That’s a long time! We bet the festival-goers are super excited to see him and his incredible movies again.
